Had quite the couple of weeks with head cold and flu - the flu was nasty and took me out for a couple of days. The twins had it also and I believe I acquired it from them.
Was talking with my friend Marie Oickle last night and we are trying to finalize dates for our trip to Greece in 2007. The month of May had to be put aside due to a commitment by Marie's husband, Gary. So we've decided on the month of Sept. and I'm just waiting to find out when my nephew's graduation from C.B. University will be in the Fall of 2007. Hopefully there will be no conflict.
We had our new door installed last Monday and it is quite "grand". The old one (12 years) will be given to Gail & Tony when they start construction on their new cottage.

This is new for me - not sure how to go about using this "blog". Perhaps someone can give me some pointers.
About me - I live in Cape Breton with my husband of 27 years - I have 4 beautiful grandchildren whom I adore - I bowl, go to the gym a couple of times a week - volunteer at a local hospital once a week and spend time with great friends. We love to travel and have an exciting trip coming up in late January to St. Lucia. We spend lots of time in Dartmouth visiting friends and family - especially my soon to be 102 year old mother in law. She's a super lady and I have loads of time for her. Wish she was closer to us.
On this special day - Lest We Forget - I remember our vets - those you did for us and those who are still doing.
